Retrun Policy

  • Engraved custom pieces are non-returnable.

  • Order can be returned or canceled only before reaching the engraving phase.

  • Cancellation during the project period incurs a minimum fee of R550 for completed illustration work depending on the detail.

  • No cancellation fee if no illustration work has been done.

  • If you need to send your piece back you will receive our address. You will need to courier the parcel to our Cape Town based studio, Please use a tracking number as we can't be held responsible if your precious parcel goes missing.

*Please note we do not collect any parcels from a Post Office.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, but should you need assistance, we are happy to arrange collection with our couriers for R100 one way or R200 return.

Shipping & Production

  • All online purchases are ‘made to order,’ so please allow 10 to 15 working days for processing and manufacturing. Please note that we can only start this process once we have received payment.

  • Our courier delivers throughout South Africa at a cost of R100 per parcel. We unfortunately do not ship over seas just yet!

  • Please allow 2 to 3 working days for shipping. As soon as your parcel has been dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking number.

  • Unfortunately collection is not currently available. I do have a small home studio and will be accepting collections soon.

Repairs

  • We are committed to your satisfaction and take responsibility for factory faults that may cause your piece to break.

  • Notify our team within 30 days if you experience any factory fault issues. Please email us with a photo of the fault.

  • We will assist you in restoring your item to its original condition. Charges may apply for broken pieces if the damage is caused by negligence. Our team will assist you with a personalised process to determine cost and time of your repair, which varies case by case.

  • MUL does not take responsibility for broken chains. Chains, by nature, are extremely delicate and need to be handled with great care. The repair fee for a broken chain is R150 for silver and R250 for gold.

Resizing

  • If you got your size wrong, do not worry we are happy to help. We have a service fee of R150 for Sterling Silver and R250 for 9ct Yellow gold

  • Visiting a local jeweller for professional finger measurement is the best way to determine your ring size.If you are unable to do this, however, please feel free to use our online ring sizing chart as the next best option. Please note that this is merely a guide, so we cannot be held responsible should it end up being the incorrect size.

  • Please note we use the British sizing chart, which is alphabetical, so make sure to inform the jeweller about it.

Gold Plating

  • MUL does not offer plating of rings or any jewellery made out of house.

  • Plating will fade over time, due to the nature of the process. If you take care of your plated piece it can last you up to a year or more.

  • Subsequent re-plating available at a fee of R250.

  • Courier fees for re-plating will be at the customer's expense.

  1. ORDERS

Purchase of products:

  • All details, descriptions, and prices of products on the website are accurate at the time of entry.
  • We reserve the right to refuse an order for various reasons.
  • Non-acceptance may result from product unavailability, payment authorization issues, errors in product information, or incorrect order details provided by the customer.

Prices:

  • Prices displayed on the website are in Rand and include VAT.
  • Prices are subject to change at any time.
  • Additional charges may apply for delivery, especially for precious items.

Delivery address:

We are not responsible for incorrect addresses entered during the ordering process.

Please contact us immediately if you notice any incorrect address details.

  • Order acceptance and cancellation:
  • Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance or offer confirmation.
  • We reserve the right to accept, decline, or limit an order at any time.
  • If an order is canceled after the credit card has been charged, a refund will be provided.
  • Orders cannot be canceled once placed unless there is an unavoidable delay in shipment.

  • Payment options:
  • MUL Jewellery accepts PayPal and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
  • Paypal payments may have an additional service fee of up to 5%.
  • Pre-authorization check is conducted on payment cards to ensure sufficient funds.
  • Goods will be dispatched after the pre-authorization check is completed.
  • Custom duties:
  • Customers may be liable for customs and import duties.
  • These charges must be paid by the recipient.
  • Check customs requirements in your country before placing an order.

  • We may discontinue products without notice.
  • Pricing is subject to change due to various factors.
  • We reserve the right to make adjustments to prices and products.

  • Orders are processed within 72 hours of placement.
  • Manufacturing time is approximately 10 working days.
  • Shipping occurs on weekdays during office hours, excluding public holidays.
  • Once shipped, the responsibility lies with the postal service.
  • We are not liable for any errors made by postal services.
  • Open parcels with care; we are not responsible for items damaged during opening.
  • Delivery times are subject to postal delays and force majeure.

  • Product accuracy:

  • Avoid contact with soap, sunscreen, creams, perfume, and harsh chemicals (chlorine, hand sanitiser).
  • Remove jewellery before washing hands, showering, or exercising to prevent plating fading.
